Dmitry Pakhomkin
Cofounder and CEO, Goodzer
Dmitry Pakhomkin is the cofounder and CEO of Goodzer, the best way to find all sorts products from all kinds of stores everywhere in the country.
After moving to Virginia, Pakhomkin, a software engineer with advanced degrees in computer science and engineering, got the idea for Goodzer after he wasted hours driving from one ice rink to another looking for hockey gear. He finally found it just five minutes from his home. Why wasn’t there a search engine for local goods? Across the globe, another computer scientist, Artem Zarutsky, was mulling the same thing and together they created Goodzer.
Founded in 2010 in the D.C. metro area, Goodzer’s technology and search engine are the result of several years of development and can easily scale the automatic aggregation of product inventory data. Goodzer currently searches from 2 billion goods in 5 million locations across the country.
