Kris Barton has served as ReachLocal's Chief Product Officer since February 2012. Previously, he was Chief Operating Officer of multimedia software and platform company Nero AG from 2010 to 2012. Since starting at Nero in 2006, Barton also held the title of Executive Vice President of Global Products, overseeing all product development.

Prior to Nero, Barton served in multiple management roles at Microsoft Corporation from 2001 to 2006, overseeing the product development efforts for the MSN online properties including MSN.com and MSN network channels. Barton has also held product positions at Omniture and Novell Corporation.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration and marketing communications from Brigham Young University.

Loren Bendele  Loren Bendele, CEO, Savings.com

Loren Bendele is the CEO of Savings.com. He co-founded the business in March of 2007. Prior to Savings.com Loren ran Teleflora’s Partner Marketing business, selling through key relationships including USAA, UPS, American Express, Sears, JC Penney, American Airlines, United Airlines, Continental Airlines, and other large partnerships.

Loren started his career with Dow Chemical, initially as a chemical engineer. He then joined The Boston Consulting Group where he provided strategy/management consulting services for industries including airline, health care, software and telecommunications. He has also worked as an Internet technology consultant focusing on strategy, business development, fund raising, product management and M&A for companies ranging in size from emerging ventures to established companies such as Earthlink and WeddingChannel.com.

Loren graduated with honors in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Bill began his computer programming career at the age of 16, when he worked as a consultant in Albuquerque. Over time he expanded his scope and eventually he focused upon the development of ProLaw, a premier law office management software package.

Over a decade he built ProLaw, adding features to the software until he’d created a law office management tool that offered a complete practice management solution for law firms. Bill’s success with ProLaw culminated in the sale of the company to Thomson West in 2001. He remained President of ProLaw until 2004, when he succumbed to the creation urge once more and became Special Limited Partner in the Verge Fund, a venture capital fund providing seed capital for high-tech ventures in New Mexico.

Elnora Palms-Cunningham is the director of Print and Online Local Search at U-Haul International, Inc. In this position, she oversees listings management in local search, as well as national and local Yellow Pages and White pages advertising, strategic planning, implementation and production operations throughout North America. In this position, Cunningham led U-Haul International’s advertising transition from 60-plus years of print advertising to digital advertising-and-listings management.

He is on the board of advisors for NYU’s Mitchell Jacobson Leadership Program in Law and Business and the Digital Advisory Board of American Express OPEN. He has been named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and Innovator of the Year by the Corporate Executive Council of New York, and was named to Crain’s 40 Under 40 list of leading young executives.

Jeff Folckemer is responsible for the overall strategic direction of operations, product and partnership development. Folckemer joined LocalEdge, a Division of Hearst Communications, Inc., in 1999 with the primary objective to transition the multimedia organization into a digital focused advertising provider. Continuing with this focus, Folckemer held the position of chief information officer in 2004 when the company was acquired by Hearst Corporation.

In 2009 he began his current role as president and CEO introducing products such as search engine marketing, search engine optimization, social media management, online video, email and text marketing, reputation management, online display ads through behavioral targeting, and e-commerce to thousands of small and medium size businesses nationwide. In 2010, Folckemer was named Senior Vice President of Hearst Newspapers. Within his responsibilities, Folckemer works to shape and direct the newspaper division’s efforts to offer digital marketing products and services to its customers.

In addition, Folckemer also advises Hearst on strategic investments that have included the purchase of Metrix4Media among other industry leading companies. A seasoned executive with a track-record for growing high-tech companies, before joining LocalEdge, Folckemer held positions as Vice President at WebMD as well as Vice President at MedE America.

Folckemer is a graduate of Canisius College.

Bill Gross founded Idealab in March 1996 and serves as the company's Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. Bill founded Idealab to create and build successful businesses that capitalize on innovations in areas with significant growth opportunities, including the Internet.

A lifelong entrepreneur, Bill started several companies prior to Idealab. In high school, he founded Solar Devices, a firm that sold plans and kits for solar energy products. In college at the California Institute of Technology, he patented a new loudspeaker design and formed GNP Loudspeakers, Inc. After graduating from college, Bill and his brother Larry started GNP Development, Inc., which made a natural language product for Lotus 1-2-3 called HAL. In 1985, Lotus Development Corporation acquired GNP and Bill became a software entrepreneur at Lotus Development. In 1991, Bill started Knowledge Adventure, an educational software publisher that grew to be the third largest educational software publisher in the world and was eventually sold to Cendant Software and is now a division of Havas Interactive, which is owned by Vivendi.

Bill serves on the boards of directors of numerous companies. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the California Institute of Technology and of the Art Center College of Design. Bill received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.

Mike is the President and COO at U-T San Diego, formerly The San Diego Union-Tribune, spearheading the transformation of the company to a fully integrated media organization. Mike joined the Union-Tribune in 2009 as the executive in charge of direction and strategy for SignOnSanDiego.com and all of The San Diego Union-Tribune's interactive initiatives.

Before the Union-Tribune, Mike was vice president of Sales-Interactive for Freedom Communications, the publisher of the Orange County Register. There Mike oversaw all interactive revenue initiatives for Freedom's nationwide daily newspapers and broadcast television stations.

Mike has been involved in several internet start-up companies, including his own firm, TheRealtyCorporation.com, which was one of the first online real estate and mortgage companies. James M. Moroney III serves as publisher and chief executive officer of The Dallas Morning News, a position he has held since June 2001. He is a member of A. H. He also serves on numerous boards of technology and digital ventures in Silicon Valley, including mobile companies Glu Mobile, and formerly worked with the board at Tapulous. Early career experience includes employment as an engineer at IBM. Smith then worked in management consulting at Ernst & Young before moving to A.T.
