Mangesh is an Executive Adviser to BIA’s Strategy Advisory Group. A senior business development & marketing executive with more than 20 years of progressive technology business and management experience, Mangesh is results-driven with a proven track record of building and scaling B2B and B2B2C companies across Internet (Digital/IoT), Adtech/Location Marketing, SaaS, and Big Data.

His deep belief in “people do business with people” has resulted in consistent success building strong teams, strategic partnerships, direct & channel sales and marketing, and bundled solutions for profitable growth. An Adtech industry veteran, Mangesh has worked across the entire ecosystem from selling technology into publishers all the way to being the publisher and everything in between (agency, data provider et al) packaging omni-channel solutions for national/regional and local businesses alike. This enables him to understand and solve real pain points of each stakeholder in the entire ecosystem.

Most recently, Mangesh assisted the CEO of SignalFrame, a contextual IoT analytics company providing Data-as-a-Service and location marketing solutions with a commercial market launch. He successfully implemented new messaging & positioning and helped close commercial deal with a top US mobile carrier, and pilot at a national news publisher to execute on the newly defined GTM strategy.

At EventBank, a SaaS company providing event management & marketing solutions to professional communities across 12 countries around the world, Mangesh was responsible for developing and executing global growth strategies. He successfully restructured the US operations (sales, marketing, customer success & finance), crafted new marketing plan, and implemented new KPIs & comp plans, and structures across global sales & marketing resulting in 7x client base growth.

Prior to EventBank, Mangesh was engaged by the board of Surefire Local, a digital marketing services company, to lead business transformation for faster market growth and higher exit multiples. During his tenure he installed upsell program, inked new strategic partnerships, and implemented bundling structures along with new product messaging increasing ARR by 25%.

Previously, Mangesh was hired by investors to help with higher valuation at Mspark, a direct marketing company serving hundreds of national brands & several thousand local business. As Vice President & GM of Digital Solutions, he successfully architected and implemented omni-channel strategy by bundling top Adtech products along with refreshing sales & customer success playbooks resulting in 9% EBITDA increase.

At EveryScape, a B2B2C VR & video solutions startup, Mangesh was responsible for the reseller channel & SMB business unit. All top IYP publishers sold his products through their thousands of sales reps across the entire nation.

Mangesh has transitioned a B2C mobile startup that aimed to disrupt how broadcasters and artists connected with their fans as their interim CEO, and was a co-founder of an Internet healthcare company that crafted and delivered innovative care-at-a-distance telepresence solution. Mangesh started his career in telecom where he led the first ever VoIP 2-way radio system that revolutionized operations in both federal & state governments, and enterprises alike.

Mangesh holds B.Eng. in electronics engineering, an M.S. in computer science, and an M.B.A. from Cornell University. He is a co-founding board member of the Startup Leadership Program, a global education non-profit that trains high-caliber entrepreneurs to build and run successful companies.
