Contour Study

The Contour study, offered by BIA/Kelsey’s Dataworld division, provides calculations based on the FCC F(50,50), F(50,10) and the F(50,90) curves used for FM and TV propagations.

Customers must provide the following information to use this service:

• Job Title
• Metric or English
• Channel (FM 201-300, TV 2-69)
• J Contour type (F(50,10), F(50,50), F(50,90)
• Contour (s)
• ERP (Effective Radiated Power)
• Radial azimuths
• Radial segment (Section 73.313 = FM, 73.684 = TV/LPTV/TX)
