ILM Asia 2011: Defining the Local-Social-Mobile Ecosystem

Local search, mobile commerce, social media, deals. The media landscape in the Asia-Pacific region is changing rapidly, from one based on traditional word of mouth to social networking, from traditional to digital media. To define and explore this emerging marketspace, BIA/Kelsey has joined forces with the Asian Directory Publishers Association (ADPAI) to present ILM Asia 2011, a two-day conference for everyone interested in how to help Asian businesses use digital media to acquire and retain customers.

One area of focus at ILM Asia 2011 will be the emerging deals space, popularized by leading players like Groupon and LivingSocial. Deals are proliferating around the region, with new companies finding new ways to use the deals concept to help businesses sell their products and services.

ILM Asia is a must attend event for directory publishers, newspapers, search engines, ad networks, agencies, online verticals, technology partners – any company focused on online directories, local or mobile search, social media, verticals or deals. ILM Asia is also an excellent venue for investors looking for insight into new trends and to rub elbows with promising regional entrepreneurs.

The ILM Asia agenda is focused on identifying trends, defining opportunities, and sharing best practices.
