What Motivates Consumers to Scan QR Codes?

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Despite data showing half of smartphone users have scanned a QR code, many brand advertisers trail behind in adopting the medium. In an overall sample of Internet users, 21 percent have heard of QR codes, but 81 percent recall seeing them, according to a survey by Chadwick Martin Bailey.
