MLM Mobile Ad Revenues by Platform

Michael Boland, 2/16/2012

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

This Client Inquiry Brief presents BIA/Kelsey’s calculation of how mobile advertising revenues break down by operating system. There are two ways to present this analysis:

1.     Total ad revenues generated (money spent by advertisers)

2.     Revenues derived by app developers

The difference between the two is a function of ad network arbitrage. The first figure is our forecast for total mobile ad revenues, while the second subtracts ad network margins.
