Summary: This fall update of BIA/Kelsey’s Annual U.S. Local Media Forecast for 2010 through 2015 projects slow growth in the overall local ad market over the next five years. In fact, the rate of growth is not expected to keep pace with that of the economy. As always, digital media will be a bright spot, with double-digit growth expected for the forecast period, compared with a steady, modest decline for traditional advertising revenues. This document also features our revised forecast for mobile advertising, including breakouts for national and local mobile advertising, and advertising by sources.
